Instructions
- Place your cut potatoes into a large bowl of ice-cold water and let them soak for 30 minutes, up to a day for better taste.
- Pat them down and completely dry.
- Place dry potatoes in a dry bowl.
- Put olive oil, 1 tsp per potato.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cornstarch per pound of potatoes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Shake the basket vigorously every 5 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 400°F for the last 2-4 minutes.
- Dump the hot fries into a bowl and immediately toss with salt.
