Instructions

  1. Place tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a food processor; blend until smooth.
  2. Ingredients placed in a food processor, blending until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until slightly softened, about 2 minutes.
  4. Onions cooking in a large skillet of oil until soft.
  5. Stir in blended tomato sauce and white wine.
  6. Stir in blended tomato sauce with onions.
  7. Stir in white wine with sauce.
  8. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes.
Notes

If you don't have a blender uou could use an immersion blender if you have one, otherwise you could mash the chunks with a potato masher. You could also simmer the sauce for longer, which will help break down the tomatoes even more. Or better yet, just leave the sauce unblended for a nice, chunky texture!
